Maintenance:
Avoid using sharp objects when opening your package to avoid piercing the painting, the tape around the package is paper and should tear with your fingers.
Canvas is a flexible material than can dent easily, so when removing the canvas from the packaging please hold by the wood edges of the canvas.
Once the canvas has been removed from all packaging, please be careful not to lean the canvas on a surface with a point edge as this will cause damage.
Avoid touching the surface of the painting as this can cause stains/damages.
I recommend hanging the painting once unpackaged to avoid any accidents or damages to the painting.
Caring for your painting:
Avoid direct sunlight as excessive lighting can cause pigment discoloration.
Avoid direct or extreme heat. The ideal temperature for storing paintings is room temperature (between 16C-26C) so display your paintings away from ovens, stoves, heating lamps or any other source of heat inside the room.
Avoid moisture and humidity as storing a painting where there is high humidity could cause mould at the back of the painting.
Cleaning:
Paintings can gather dust, so we recommend regularly dusting them with either a clean dry cloth or a feather duster to lightly remove dirt from the surface of the painting.
Don't use water, soap or household cleaners when cleaning the painting as this will damage the painting.

General care:
Your giclee fine art print will last a lifetime if cared for correctly.
Handle your print with clean dry hands as skin oils can stain the print.
Use two hands to support your print by the edges, as any dents, bends or creases could be permanent.
Ideally, hang your print away from contact of moisture and direct heat source/direct sunlight as this can damage the print.
Framing can extend the life of your print as it adds a layer of protection.
Flattening your fine art print (if rolled):
Find a flat, smooth and hard surface and ensure the surface is clean and dry.
Carefully unwrap the print from the glassine paper it came wrapped in.
Place your print image side up, and place the glassine paper it came wrapped in on top, ensuring the while print is covered.
Once the print has been covered with the protective paper, place a heavy flat object on top of the print (such as some books) and let it rest for 24 hours to flatten before framing.
Never iron, steam, or use moisture to flatten as this will damage the print.
Once flattened you can frame.
Cleaning your fine at print:
Never try to clean your print with a damp cloth, water or solvents.
If the print is framed with glass/plastic protective sheet you should not need to clean the print itself from dust, only the glass/plastic.
If you do need to clean the print, use a clean white, dry soft lint-free cloth. Do not use dirty or dark coloured cloth.
