Buyers terms and conditions of sale

Process of sale

  1. The buyer sends confirmation to the website stating they wish to purchase a product by clicking the ‘buy now’ link on the website.

  2. The buyer will purchase the product using either credit or debit card online or the paypal secure payment system.

  3. Once funds have been received, the purchased products will be sent to the buyer.

 

Delivery

  1. Print sales will be dispatched between 3-5 working days (unless specified differently on the website or order confirmation).

  2. Prints will either be sent in an envelope or in a cardboard posting tube (depending on print size, how many prints and delivery address).

  3. Original artwork will be sent via a specific art courier who will safely handle and deliver the artwork. Original artwork will be dispatched within 1-2 weeks.

  4. All orders will have tracked delivery.

  5. The cost of delivery is dependent on your location and will be calculated at checkout.

  6. Some delivery charges may be invoiced to the customer for postage of original artwork outside the UK as extra delivery charges may apply, along with custom charges.

 

Risk and Title

  1. The products will be the buyers responsibility from the time of delivery.

  2. Ownership of the products will only pass to the buyer when we receive full payment of all sums due in respect of the products, including delivery charges.

  3. All copyright remains with the artist, even once original artwork is sold.

  4. You must read the attached care instruction in your package before fully opening your order to ensure that you handle the artwork correctly without damaging, as once the product is in your possession at time of delivery, you are liable for the damage and it is your responsibility.

 

Price, payment and commission

  1. The price of the products and the delivery charges will be quoted on the website.

  2. Product prices and delivery charges are liable to change at any time.

  3. Payment for all products must be by the secure paypal system, credit or debit card.

  4. Commissions will be agreed with a 50% deposit to allow the artist to start the work and the final payment to be paid before dispatch.

 

Cancellation rights

  1. You have the right to cancel for any reason and receive a full refund. You will receive a full refund of the price paid for the products in accordance to the refunds policy (detailed below). You have 14 days from dispatch to inform us in writing should you decide to cancel.

  2. To cancel you must inform us in writing. Please contact us via our cancellation and returns enquiry form, we will review your request and offer you alternative options where applicable.

  3. Written cancellation requests will not be considered via any social media messages, and will only be considered via the cancellation and returns enquiry form.

  4. You must return the products as soon as reasonably able, and at your own cost. You have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the product whilst in your possession and return in the condition you received.

  5. We may ask for evidence of any issues with the product and may contact you to obtain evidence to allow for us to consider your request.

 

Returns policy

If you return a product:

  1. If you have cancelled within the 14 day cancellation period, and the product has not been sent and received by the buyer, a refund will be issued to you as soon as possible.

  2. If you have cancelled within the 14 day cancellation period, and the product has been sent, a refund will be issued once the product has been returned to the seller and has been confirmed as in a reasonable condition by the artist. If the item returned is damaged by you or in transit, we cannot issue a full refund.

  3. Returns for original artwork are not always accepted, and we ask that you contact us to discuss via the cancellation and returns enquiry form.

  4. We do not usually accept returns for print orders as they are made to order and can be easily damaged and usually cannot be re-sold once returned. However, if your print arrives damaged please do contact us via the cancellation and returns enquiry form and we can discuss how to resolve this issue.

  5. We will refund any money received from you, normally by using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase.
